Since today is Halloween I thought that I would post a Holiday that is similar from my book. This day is known simply as Demon's day.
It started shortly after the war of the immortals but it came about shortly before. Shortly before the year 1003 Tiatharus opened the gates to the abyss and unleashed the the demons from her realm on to the land. These demons had never been to a mortal plane before and they were a little confused at first. These first demons were small ones and they only attacked beings of their size. When they came across the first human civilization the adults were bigger than they were so they started kidnapping children. This was so that they could learn more about the humans. When the humans realized what was happening they sent out a battalion of knights to search for the children. When it was discovered that the demons were abducting children the Human's prayed to their gods. The human's prayers were answered when Setharus, God of Knowledge, came to them and explained to them that the demons that were attacking their children were not very smart and that they could fool them by dressing their children up to look like demons.
So the humans did just that, they started dressing their children up to look like demons and when the demons started going into the towns they thought they won control of the towns with so many demons running around (they were in fact looking at the children dressed as demons). The real demons decided that with so many other demons in the town they would attack the adults, this of course failed and the demons were driven back. This was the first major conflict in the war of the immortals.
After the war the humans wanted to keep a reminder of this first major conflict, so they created Demon's day. A day where the children would dress up and go from home to home knocking on doors. The adults would then treat the children in remembrance of Setharus treating them with the knowledge to combat against the demons.
So that is a little brief history of one of the Holidays that exists in the world of Dracodonius. I hope you enjoyed it. Feel free to leave comments to let me know what you think and as always thank you for your interest in Mageeye: The Dracodonius Chronicles.

Well after reading and editing the first three cheapters of my book looks like I am due for a complete rewrite of the book in general. As much as I am dreading it I think that my skill as a stutter has changed and I really want my book to reflect that so taking my outline and other notes I am going to start from page one and dive into it.

Well I have had my new Android phone now for about a month. I have found it very useful and now I am a member of the google+ community. I have to say when they say “There's and app for that” they really mean it. I have found an app for everything I use concerning my writing, art, and social media. I am going to be continuing my writing and I am also continuing my gaming. Hopefully I will get to have it finished by the end of 2012. I have also gotten a job offer for working in the I.T. department at the company I work for. I am hoping that it works out, I think It would give me more time to work on my book. I just need to stayed focused and motivated on it.

Well my old store has now officially closed. Everyone gets to keep their jobs and we are being shuffled around to the other stores. I started (temporarily) at the 23rd and Penn store and will be there for the next week and a half to two weeks. Its defiantly different than what I am used to. Looks like my hours will be different for a little bit as well. With these new hours looks like my gamming might be put on hold and my writing will be able to take a front seat. This will be a nice change and possible a change for the better, we will see. But for now I am just trying to get adjusted to the new store. I should know in a week or so what my new home store will be. On the plus side I have started thinking about how I will be ending chapter three, I think it will be a different kind of shock to anyone who is following my books progress, and as always thanks for following MageEye: The Dracodonius Chronicles.

After considerable debating and thinking and talking..lol…It may look like a total re-write of Mageeye:The Dracodonius Chronicles. I am still pondering over what I have and thoroughly reading it over to see what changes need to be made. I do know I want to keep it down to at least two to three characters (Gemini, Ulaborn, and possible one more). Any Thoughts?

Well I have no idea..lol..I would like to work on the book some more since I have given my self till the end of this year to get it completed, but I am not sure that will be a reality since I haven’t worked on it since December of 2010. and here it is the day before march. Well I am hoping to change that. I have found that my problem is because I work 10 hours at work I am completely brain dead by the time I get home. That presents the problem of me being creative enough to write. So what do I do…I play star trek online, which requires no thought, just button pushing. So I am going to try and create myself a new schedule where I try to write at least an hour a day, hopefully more if I can get the creative juices flowing. Right now here is what my schedule looks like, and keep in mind I only get one day off a week, but my normal day to day schedule looks like this:
1:30pm leave for work
12:00am leave work
12:30am get home
12:45am get done eating
1:00am Log into star trek online
4:30am Go to bed
12:00pm wake up
12:30pm Shower and get ready for work
repeat the cycle.
Here is what I am hoping I can change, Instead of spending 1am to 4:30am playing STO I was hoping to spend say either 1am to 2am or 3:30am to 4:30 am working on the book. I am still playing with the time table right now, but the main hurdle I have to over come is not being brain dead when I get home from work. I have all these ideas in my head while I am at work but by the time I get home..they are gone. and my brain is totally taxed from work. Well wish me luck and till next time.
